Il Mangiarozzo 2014

The entrance in this lovely “gourmand corner” of the chef Andrea Rosso is composed by a great wood relief. The chef is a whiskered and quiet man but you can see his richness in his cook wich is is one of the best in the country because  it speaks about the territory, the habits but mainly it speaks about the identities that are the real richness of Carloforte. A richness that every italian citizen should find.

And so, satiate your taste with the series of starters, a tribute at the sea symphony; don’t say no to the “lasagnette” with tuna and “pesto” or cous cous.

But the most important thing that you have to do is to taste the real protagonist of Carloforte; the tuna. It is cooked in every way. We suggest to you to try the tuna called “alla carlofortina”(with sause and bay leafs).

Finally the cakes made by Andrea’s wife with semplicity and mastery.

You can also try one of the 120 Sardinian wines(look the great attention of the territory identity) wich Cristiano, Andrea’s son, will suggest  to you.
